Master Packaging Inc., the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging, located in Dieppe, New Brunswick, is currently seeking self-motivated and energetic individuals who are interested in joining our team as a Clamp/ Forklift Operator.

Responsibilities: As a member of a highly energetic and goal-oriented shipping team and reporting to the Shipping Manager and/or Corrugator Manager, you will be mainly responsible for the following:

Clamp:

• Operate the roll clamp while ensuring efficiency
• Complete all applicable paperwork.
• Unload roll stock trailers; ensure paperwork reflects what is received. Notify Front Line Manager of any discrepancies.
• Print line up and ensure rolls are always available.
• Weigh waste bails and load onto trailers.
• Manage roll stock inventory
• Other related duties

Forklift:

• Using counterbalance lifts trucks
• Moving raw materials and finished goods to processing areas
• Storing goods in the designated areas of the warehouse
• Utilizing scanning equipment for putting away and tracing of locating product.
• Loading transport vehicles
• Operating forklift in a safe manner
• Other related duties

Rotation: 4 on, 4 off (8 Day Rotation)

Shift: 2 Day shifts (6:30 AM to 6:30 PM) followed by 2 Night shifts (6:30 PM to 6:30 AM)

Pay: $28.69 – $30.72 per hour/ + $2 Night Shift / Time and a Half Sunday Premium.

Requirements and Skills:

• High School / GED level education
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a forklift/clamp operator
• Goal oriented, self-motivated & multi tasked individual
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Results and team-oriented individual who is committed to safe operating practices
• Able and willing to work flexible hours
• Willing and able to work rotating shifts.

As a member of a highly energetic and goal oriented team, you will be mainly responsible for the quality of our finished product along with the associated daily production data input documentation. You will assist and promote adherence to quality practices and performance standards, promote good housekeeping methods and promote achievement of world-class waste goals all while enforcing safe practices among your team members.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have High School / GED level education. Must be multi tasked, result oriented, team player and most importantly willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Previous experience in manufacturing/production is considered an asset. Must have the drive to advance and learn to assist and operate machinery.

Starting Wage: $22.21 per hour/ + $2 Night Shift / Time and a Half Sunday Premium.
